In the last issue of Newsbites, we mentioned the numerous community complaints about the unsightly perimeter fencing at the Bel Air Country Club (“BACC”) and that BAHA’s President was working with BACC to come up with a compromise that would improve the aesthetics for the neighborhood. Our focus has been the hillside stretch of Bellagio to Chalon, just southwest of the entrance to Bel Air Hills. At this point, we believe we have negotiated a good solution with the top half of the tarp removed and low bushes will be placed in front of the bottom half of the fence with the tarp. This eliminates the “tunnel effect” going up the hill and let’s us see the hills and homes on the other side of the golf course again.
