***Halloween/Fall Festival***    BAHA held its annual Halloween/Fall Festival on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 3:00-5:00 pm, at the Roscomare Park/Circle.  Many neighbors joined the party in costume and a good time was had by all.  The kids enjoyed arts and crafts, the adults enjoyed meeting neighbors and all enjoyed the cookies and hot apple cider.  An event like this would not happen if it were not for the efforts of a number of dedicated people.   So, special thanks are in order to:

*Inta Kipper, Wendy Morris and Robin Greenberg for organizing and   putting everything together.

*Charlie McAndrew for decorations.

*Joanie and Leigh's Cakes for the delicious cookies

*Leila Hussain for arts and crafts for the kids

***Revised Wildlife Ordinance***   Last month the Los Angeles City Planning Department released a revised version of the proposed Wildlife Ordinance (see A revised version of the proposed Wildlife Ordinance).  BAHA is currently studying the revisions and may submit comments, because they may have significant impact on properties in Bel Air Hills.  The City Planning Commission will meet on November 17 to consider the proposed Wildlife Ordinance (as revised).   Also, note that written comments can be emailed (cpc@lacity.org) to the City Planning Commission until 4 p.m. on November 14

***Change in Command at LAPD Westside***   Captain Jonathan Tom, Commanding Officer, West Los Angeles Area, is being replaced by Captain Craig Heredia, as the new Commanding Officer, West Los Angeles Area.  BAHA has had an excellent working relation with Captain Tom and looks forward to having a similar relationship with Captain Heredia.
